There is just something about dessert. Dessert is that sweet note right after a meal. Or a shared treat at a cozy bakery with the ones you love. It could be smooth, gooey, or creamy. But most importantly it brings a smile to your face all the time.
That’s why I started Captured Desserts. I just loved going to my local bakery in my town. It was family-owned and you felt like part of their family too. It was like they always had their door open ready for you to come in and share their newest hot and fresh baked goods and enjoy some conversation. This started my love of baking as well. I love welcoming people to my home seeing everyone smile and enjoying those final moments after a meal with their dessert in hand. It just warms my heart.
So here at Captured Desserts, I want to not only share my recipes, but it’s also a place where I will capture all my favorite places for dessert when you crave something sweet.
